Did you miss the posts earlier about super duty Ford trucks at 75k?
I also optioned a GMC Denali HD up to 72k

Yeah, I think so, this trend can't be right.

Yeah... half of it is just all the extras that you can now get with them. My family's 2013 Expedition clocked in at a few grand under 50K. My advice is just pick up a used one as there are probably tons of them that never saw any real stress or use and it would be pretty much the same with a good discount.

Well you can still get base model ones for work trucks so who cares?

F-150 will go up to $58,060 in Limited form and $59,580 in Raptor form.

Could reach $70,000?
Try *DO* reach $70,000!

Most full opinion truck buyers are such tools, they don't realize that they can get a lower spec truck, and a car instead of a full optioned truck.

This is a problem?
You don't have to buy a $70k+ one.

I don't have a problem with luxury trucks. The way I see it, if you 'need' a truck, and spend a lot of time driving, you should be able to get a luxury version.

But hey, look on the bright side: if you lot are willing to start paying proper prices for vehicles, you won't have to drive junk anymore.

Many wealthy people that purchase trucks as their vehicles want luxurious appointments coupled with usability. They aren't "tools", they just prefer a King Ranch 3/4 ton that they can take hunting as opposed to a BMW 535 that they can't.

450s are specialty towing vehicles. We're talking normal trucks.

IF I buy another truck, it'll be a 2WD half ton Ram Laramie Longhorn. Hemi, 8-speed transmission, 3.92 rear axle, 22 em-peh-guhs, and all the luxury that you could ask for/need/want. A touch under $50k MSRP.
I still want a CTS-Vsport, though.

Ahh, I only got it up to 56k in Platinum.
Here's the F350 at 70k and the GMC 3500 at 72k (I don't want Ford to take all the heat here lol, that wouldn't be fair):

Could reach 70 000$? That's cute.
